  • The Prenatal Nutritionist, Ryann Kipping.

Ryann, MPH, RDN, The Prenatal Nutritionist, is the founder of The Prenatal Nutrition Library. If it's about food, I am in! Ryann helps women make informed, confident decisions about their food intake during pregnancy. Ryann started her journey as a registered dietitian at a government based clinic teaching women about their nutritional needs during pregnancy. After not feeling fully aligned to that role, she decided to leave her position there and moved forward to create The Prenatal Nutrition Library! There is a lot of information out there, and TPNL helps narrow it down! The Prenatal Nutrition Library is an excellent resource for TTC mamas and already pregnant mothers. Pregnancy demands so much of our bodies, and how you feel during pregnancy can be influenced by what you are putting into your body. Aside from the nutritional value of a pregnancy diet, there are so many claims and hard no's on what to eat and what not to eat. TPNL helps guide you through all this information so that you can eat the best, safest diet for you and your growing baby! The framework of the The Prenatal Nutrition Library is an app that can be paid for monthly or yearly, all information is also featured on the browser platform. Within this app is an immense amount of resources such as weekly updated topics, forums, topic searches, podcasts, and so much more. With the yearly subscription, or opting to buy it separately, you also get a 60 day meal plan tailored to each semester. Quick guides are offered on specific, common pregnancy topics. Who know there was so much to prenatal nutrition?! Ryann is backed by a supportive, informative team, helping supply you with the best and most accurate information. Ryann is also a certified lactation educator, so her value in nutritional needs goes beyond pregnancy. On the Prenatal Nutritionist Blog, the team shares information on specific topics such as food sourcing or fulfilling that sweet tooth. One of my favorite features of this company is their cookbook. I have always tried to eat a balanced, healthy diet due to blood sugar issues and I get bored trying to be creative with meals. The Feel Good Pregnancy Cookbook enables moms to do just that, feel good. As someone who is a very sick pregnant person, I am talking sick everyday from 3.5 weeks til birth, I strongly recognize the value in nutrition. Like I said, I prefer to eat healthy. However, when I am pregnant, and tossing my cookies every few hours, that is really challenging to do. And my body pays for it. Aside from the sickness, I feel terrible. And after giving birth, my body is in such a nutrient deficient state. Prenatal nutrition is so important. Our health starts from the inside, and TPNL helps guide women to make healthier, better choices for their bodies and their baby. I hope that if there is a next pregnancy for me, I will be able to focus on better nutrition and overall better health for myself and any future babies. If you choose to join TPNL, as a member of The Prenatal Nutrition Library, you are helping support a monthly donation to The National Birth Equity Collaborative. This is a non-profit organization that exists to create transnational solutions that optimize Black maternal, infant, sexual, and reproductive wellbeing. And you know how we feel about moms supporting moms, and going even further! If you are interested in maximizing your nutrition and taking the best care of your body during pregnancy, give Ryann, The Prenatal Nutritionist, a follow. Ryann's and TPNL's social media pages offer so much value and free information on prenatal nutrition. We will drop all information below on this amazing resource for mamas! Keep following us, Fiorente by Zane, for more mama resources! Ryann Kipping, The Prenatal Nutritionist: The Prenatal Nutrition Library:

  • Everydae: Founded by Tiana Kelly

Everydae is a health & wellness company created by Tiana Kelly for postpartum mamas. Tiana herself, is a mama to a little boy and founder & CEO of the brand. We love a good boss mama who's drive is to help other moms in their journey! Tiana's own experience in the postpartum period is what led her to create Everydae. After acknowledging that she needed to supplement her diet in order to receive proper nourishment, she found it hard to find things that she felt were safe for her and her baby. So she made her own! Everydae supplements were co-created by Tiana along side naturopathic doctors, nutritionists, and scientists. They developed clean formulas to help support moms after giving birth. The Mama Recovery supplement is a postnatal multivitamin made with 24 key nutrients to help support recovery after giving birth. Everydae's Mood supplement is made with 5 powerhouse ingredients to help ease the stresses of motherhood. I am sure we could all use that! Both supplements created by Everydae are breastfeeding safe and mama friendly. They are made of clean non-GMO ingredients, and are nut, soy, gluten, and filler free. Each product is vegan and has been 3rd party tested and GMP certified. Purchase separately, in a bundle, or discounted with a subscription! Personally, I was very sick with both my pregnancies. I gained a lot of weight. After giving birth and breastfeeding, I feel so malnourished and under taken care of. My stomach alone takes months to get back to handling a normal diet. This is why I find Everydae's products so important. Not only are we lacking nourishment as mothers, we don't always have the time to give ourselves the care we need and get a full, nutritious diet. We will sometimes supplement our baby when they aren't getting enough breastmilk, right? So why not supplement ourselves when we are lacking nutrition? Everydae's blog offers more support and information into the motherhood journey with topics such as breastfeeding, mental health support, and sleep information. If you have just had a baby or are going to be meeting your little one soon, head over to Everydae's site to check out their products and see if it meets your needs! Caroline is mom to her baby girl Caia, a wife, and the creator of Hugs for Moms. She is here for moms supporting moms! Caroline is also a pet owner to her dog, Hugs :). Hugs for Moms is a blog, informational site that shares resources for Postpartum OCD. Caroline is so brave and has opened up to share her story about living with PP OCD. Her goal is to normalize Postpartum OCD as well as bring awareness to what it is. Hugs for Moms blog includes Caroline's own journey, mentioning even the hardest things to talk about. Being so open and honest is both empowering for other women and therapeutic for herself. Personally, I suffered from Dysphoric Milk Ejection Reflex (read about it on our forum) and experienced, what I can only describe as, postpartum psychosis at times. I was terrified. It was not until another mother mentioned her own psychosis symptoms that I was able to even say it out loud. Our body and brains are amazing wonders, but can also cause so much turmoil during this vulnerable period. I can relate so much to what Caroline shares on her blog, I am sure a lot of other moms out there can as well. If you have or are suffering from Postpartum OCD, take a look at Caroline's blog. To not feel alone if a powerful thing. I hope Caroline can reach as many mommies as possible that need this support and can get the help that they need. Way to go Caroline! Your courage is commendable. And as heavy as this all is, don't worry, her instagram and tiktoks are sure to bring a good laugh! Hugs will be there too! Take a look below to connect with Caroline! Lo is the ultimate "mom supporting moms". She is a also a wife and registered nurse. Lo not only has her masters degree in nursing, but carries specialty certifications in obstetrics and electronic fetal monitoring. You go boss mama. Take all of these experiences and education and what do you get? THE LABOR MAMA. Life happened and Lo had to make the choice to leave bedside nursing. She still yearned to be able to support moms in the childbearing period. So, she created The Labor Mama and its courses to help prepare mamas for their newest arrival. TLM offers a full childbirth education course, as well as mini courses in induction and VBACs. These courses are inclusive of education materials such as decision-making tools, questions to ask, what the process may be like, medications that can be used, etc. She also has courses coming soon in twins and c-sections! These courses are meant to be purchased at anytime the in prenatal period. Lo's educational materials contain information that goes beyond the hospital/birth setting. I personally worked as a NICU nurse for almost 7 years and was often in the delivery room. I felt like I had enough medical knowledge to make informed decisions when it was time for me to be in labor. My births were not easy. And honestly, I didn't always know what the h*ll was going on. I could have used Lo. My husband who had no idea what was going on the entire time, he could have most definitely benefitted from Lo's courses. Giving birth is a whirlwind, there is great benefit in being as prepared as possible. Just a little maternal child RN tidbit of advice, it does not always go as planned. *Preparedness* :) Give yourself the gift of preparedness and being able to, hopefully, dance into that labor and delivery room with confidence. Lo's courses give you the benefit of being able to know what is going on and empowering you to make decisions for yourself and your baby. TLM's website includes fun things about Lo, and some solid information on the benefits of childbirth education. Check out the shop section for a downloadable guide for an unmedicated birth, or grab some of Lo's favorite mama items. If you are feeling anxious about your baby's arrival or enjoy feeling prepared, check out Lo, The Labor Mama. Info below! Lo Mansfield: The Labor Mama
